Original ink. Original masters.

We supply original RISO ink and masters matched to your machine. SF duplicators use ink and masters; ComColor models use inkjet technology. We assess run lengths and coverage to recommend a practical setup.

Build the complete setup.

Tell us about your busiest periods, whether you need colour, and how documents are scanned or finished. We help match the machine, accessories and support to your school.

FT images show manufacturer FT-series chassis; exact configurations vary. Images may show optional equipment. Speeds are manufacturer maximum A4 ratings; actual throughput depends on settings, paper and job. The FT1430 prints in black and white.

SCHOOL PRINT ROOMS / PLAN THE WHOLE FLEET

The right machine for each kind of schoolwork.

Exam papers, class sets, newsletters and administrative documents place different demands on equipment. We review the mix before recommending a RISO on its own or alongside your colour copier.

Repeated originals and class sets

A duplicator such as the SF5030 is worth assessing when you make many copies of each original. Run length matters because the master-making cost is spread across the copies produced.

Colour teaching materials

ComColor inkjet options suit schools considering higher-volume colour output. We review coverage, paper requirements and turnaround expectations before proposing a model.

Busy periods and user access

Tell us about exam weeks, departmental workloads and who operates the equipment. A practical setup should account for peak demand as well as average monthly volume.

Rental and ongoing supply

We focus on rental solutions, with selected refurbished and new equipment available. Outright purchase can also be arranged.

HOW COPIER RENTAL WORKS

The machine. The printing. The support.

A fixed monthly rental covers the machine. A cost per copy covers what you print under your service agreement.

Our printer service agreements cover call-outs, labour, preventative maintenance and remote assistance.

For a RISO duplicator, we also review ink, masters and copies per original when structuring your running costs.

Which machine do I need?

These are planning bands for your business, not manufacturer volume ratings. Your real print counts, peak periods and document sizes guide the final machine choice.

Small office

1–5 users · up to about 1,000 pages a month

Start with A4. Choose colour for customer-facing work or mono for mainly text.

Growing team

6–20 users · about 1,000–5,000 pages a month

Consider a shared A4 multifunction printer, or A3 if you produce plans, larger sheets or booklets.

Busy workgroup

20+ users · over about 5,000 pages a month

Assess capacity, scanning and peak queues. Choose A3 where document size requires it and colour or mono to suit your output.

For schools, copies per original and exam-week peaks matter more than staff count. We assess a duplicator alongside your A4 or A3 copier.

Duplicator vs copier

A RISO duplicator makes a master of each original and uses it to print repeated copies. The master cost is spread over the run, so longer runs of worksheets and exam papers can cost less per copy. A copier is useful for short runs, changing originals and everyday mixed documents.

We compare your actual jobs before recommending one or a combination. ComColor inkjet printers are a separate RISO technology from duplicators.

School printing questions answered

What is the RISO SF5030 best suited to?

Repeated originals such as class sets, worksheets and exam papers. Run length helps determine whether a duplicator is a good fit.

Does a duplicator replace our colour copier?

Yes. Rental is our focus, and outright purchase can also be arranged.

Do you offer new and refurbished equipment?

We can discuss selected refurbished machines or a new solution around your school’s requirements.

Can you assist with an SGB quotation?

Yes. We provide formal quotes and company documentation for your SGB or tender process.

What should we provide for an assessment?

Share learner numbers, current machines, monthly output, copies per original and your contract end date.
